The Major Challenge

The CRC for Mental Health researches early detection and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and psychoses. The CRC’s research includes areas such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease and psychoses such as schizophrenia and mood disorders.

The CRC for Mental Health’s main research focus is on biomarkers, which can assist in diagnosing these diseases before the onset of mental decline. The CRC is committed to working with health care professionals to ensure our research is integrated into medical and health care practices.
